ES Cuando llegue al Perú por primera vez, de todas las bebidas que pude degustar, la bebida que más me impactó fue la “Chicha Morada”. Una bebida originaria de la región andina, que tiene como ingrediente principal el maiz morado, producto agrícola de consumo masivo que se cultiva y cosecha en los andes peruanos a lo largo del tiempo. Me enamore del Perú no solamente por el seductor sabor de la chicha morada y sus sabrosas comidas, sino también por la belleza y diversidad de sus paisajes, así como su diversidad musical que difícilmente se puede individualizar en un solo género. Por este motivo y muchos más que no puedo plasmar aquí por su extensidad, en este disco quiero demostrar mi gran cariño y agradecimiento a la cultura y a la gente peruana. 
Agradecimiento y amor a mi esposa por motivarme a realizar este proyecto que es muy importante para mi. 

EN When I first came to Peru, of all the drinks I tasted the one that struck me the most was “Chicha Morada”. This drink originates in the Andean region and has as its main ingredient purple corn, a very popular agricultural product that has long been grown and harvested in the Peruvian Andes. I fell in love with Peru not only because of the seductive taste of Chicha Morada and the country's other tasty food, but also because of its beautiful and diverse landscapes as well as its musical diversity, which cannot be reduced to one single genre. For this reason, and many more which I cannot describe in detail here. I wanted to demonstrate with this record my great love and appreciation for the culture and the people of Peru. 
My gratitude and love to my wife for encouraging me to undertake this project, which is very dear to me. 

NL Van alle drankjes die ik bij mijn eerste bezoek aan Peru mocht proeven, maakte “Chicha Morada” het meest indruk op me. Deze drank is afkomstig uit het Andesgebied en heeft als hoofdingrediënt paarse maïs, een populair landbouwproduct dat al lange tijd in de Peruaanse Andes wordt geteeld en geoogst. Ik werd verliefd op Peru niet enkel vanwege de heerlijke smaak van Chicha Morada en het lekkere eten die het land te bieden heeft, maar ook omwille van de pracht en de diversiteit van z'n landschappen en z'n muzikale diversiteit, die niet tot één genre gereduceerd kan worden. Om deze reden en nog vele andere waarover ik hier niet kan uitweiden, wou ik met dit album mijn grote liefde en dankbaarheid voor de Peruaanse cultuur en het Peruaanse volk tot uitdrukking brengen. 
Mijn dank en liefde gaan ook uit naar mijn vrouw, die me aanmoedigde dit project te verwezenlijken dat me erg na aan het hart ligt.
